How did you do it James? You and Janka met online right? I get those questions all the time and I understand why they are asked. My wife Janka really is special, beautiful, witty, competitive, and she is a great compliment to me in many very key ways. Initially when friends would ask me these questions I would shrug it off and say " I don't know it just happened I guess " . The more I heard the question though the more I would consider how I did it. When I was asked today how I did it I began to write.
The first thing I got her to do was to notice me. Now, Janka will tell you that she was going to notice me, that I was exactly her type. I am here to tell you that the pictures that got her attention were me in my purest form. The pictures she saw of me were me alone on a trip to the Sequoia national forest. They were pictures I had taken where I was in my element, at peace, and full of joy. The photo before that was me in a tank at Seaworld guiding a dolphin across a pool by its dorsal fin. Again, a picture of me in nature (well Seaworld, but kind of nature) and full of joy. My wife is a Pisces by the way.
So forget not taking solo pictures, or not taking pictures with friends. Take a picture that is you in your element and full of joy. Capture a moment where you can almost imagine bumping into whoever it is you are trying to find. Create that moment for yourself and that is the picture that you use for your profile picture. It is ok to make it count. Now take that picture of you and your moms dog down, the dog looks like he may not like you!

I believe online dating is hard. Not knowing the person makes anyone non confident. But where I come from there's a phrase that says: "From the view love is born". I guess you made a point with your pictures.Thank you anonymous. Online dating can be very intimadating in the beginning just like terrestrial dating. The thing is it can also be as rewarding.
